LCDR Yearling

In particular, Evan Yearling's award was in honor of five years of service aboard USS Hiroshima.

Citation:

Year in, year out, through the ebb and tide of activity on the sim, USS Hiroshima, LCDR Evan Yearling has been there for me and for the ship. I cannot express my continuing gratitude for him making the dream a reality. I remember the first time I served with the writer (a different ship, but it was still Evan); the CO had this to say {paraphrase} As for the Engineer, he does everything you need a player to do. He picks up people's story lines and smooths over inconsistencies. On USS Hiroshima, he does that and more. Whether it's making the power plant react as needed for the plot, or its making someone else's bad Treknology fit (without ever offending the other party), he has been there for all of us. That is why he is deserving of the Ribbon Of Commitment, specifically for completing Five Years of distinguished and uninterrupted service on USS Hiroshima (NCC-70157-A).

Well done to all!

At the risk of sounding horribly cliché, the officers and crew of USS Hiroshima remember the significance of the seventh anniversary of the '9/11' attacks and continue to, in a purely fictional setting, strive toward ideals of peace and tolerance.

As a side note, Intelligence positions were removed from the manifest, mostly because the Captain sees no need to fill those positions with player characters.
